Reasons for behavioral changes

by admin on November 16, 2007

Parents usually get mad when their teenagers get into trouble. They always miss the point of asking why, like the reasons of such an unacceptable behavior. And when kids try to reason out for their actions, parents won’t even consider the possibilities. So if you’re a parent and won’t want to get your adolescent kids into trouble, try to evaluate the situation of your kids and maybe it’s one of the following:

* Peer pressure and other social influences
* Vulnerability
* Lack of discipline from parents as little kids
* No strong or solid relationship with parents
* Family problem
* Abandonment or neglect
* Emotional trauma
* Psychological or medical problem
* Alcohol, drug, sexual abuse
* Death of a loved one

Such problems can be hard to determine. Parents should be very observant with the actions of their kids. Also, they should be able to distinguish between “being hormonal” and “being unusual.”
